“Polish and Shine” News Release Service

Print editors live in a time crunch from deadline to deadline. One great way to get your club noticed is to send local editors a complete package—polished news release and print-worthy picture.

Take a look at this great example from the Mountain View club in California. Club member and 12th District Governor Melba Williams-Swanson e-mailed copy to the We Share Foundation's Polish & Shine service. We scrubbed it up, pasted it onto a news release form and returned it to Melba ready to send to the city editor of her newspaper, whether the editor prefers electronic files or hard copy.

We can do the same for you. Polish & Shine is available to help increase your chances of making the news—which benefits fundraising and recruiting efforts for your club and enhances opportunities to serve others. Here's how it works…

Polish and Shine is a service to help your club make a professional effort in getting news coverage. Send your best effort at writing a news release to the Quota International staff office in Washington, D.C. Fax it to 202-331-4395 or e-mail it to: polishandshine@quota.org. We guarantee a professional revision by our Senior Writer will be returned to you within 7 days of receipt.
